I received a uniquefire s-10 (Cree) and it's got a defective switch. In fact- I got two of them and they both have defective switches.
I see places like shiningbeam sell switches but I dont see anything there specifically for the uniquefire. Any advice on what I should do? I wonder if one of the switches at shiningbeam would still fit etc.
I am new to modding flashlights... so need some pointers on where to start. thanks!!
The best long-term solution is probably to buy a bag of generic switches from somewhere like DX for a couple of dollars.
I’ve bought some forward switches from Shiningbeam that were for Rominsen lights but can be made to work on many lights.
I don’t know about the light you have specifically.
To remove the switch will probably just be a matter of removing a retaining ring in the tail cap. This usually has two notches and can be removed with needle nose pliers.
