Fenix has just updated the emitters on their TK75. ANSI output is now 2900 lumens.
Intensity up from 92,000cd to 119,500cd! From 606m to 690m throw.
I’ve just ordered the Fandyfire YL-U2 from Fasttech but I’ve been wanting the TK75 for quite some time though. The YL-U2 will be my first multi-LED monster and I’m pretty anxious to see how much brighter than the Eagletac TX25C2 that I have.
About time they did this.I’ve been on the fence to get a TK75…I think I just fell off on the side of buying one.Does anyone list the updated model in the US yet?I’ve decided not to purchase any big lights from overseas sellers anymore because of the ongoing issue of my S2200 from SolarForce.
I have a couple of Vinh’s lights. It is absolutely amazing on the before and after results of the lights. Top notch work and great customer service after the sale also. If you are not blow away by the finished product I would be totally shocked!!
Vinh’s doing my TK75 and he said he’s keeping the dome this is what he said:
For the TK75 I suggest keeping the dome on but going with 5000K Neutral tint. This want you have two lights that are completely different. One extra bright with large hot spot for large distant area lighting. The other dedicated for ultimate throw. I will bump current up to the max and mod whatever I feel is necessary for best result.
I’m gonna let Vinh do my Solarstorm SP03 next after my K40. I want 3 de-domed XM-L2 emitters and all the works that Vinh does. Should be around 350 to 400k I would guess.
Nice to see you finally get Vinh to do some of your lights Brad. I remember awhile back when you were looking for discount codes on the TK75 and I told you about the first TN31 mod Vinh did for me and how it smoked the stock one. That was not even the 6.5amp one that you have now. I could only imagine how nice that one is.
