Updated TK-75

Hi guys,

Fenix has just updated the emitters on their TK75. ANSI output is now 2900 lumens.
Intensity up from 92,000cd to 119,500cd! From 606m to 690m throw.

I’ve just ordered the Fandyfire YL-U2 from Fasttech but I’ve been wanting the TK75 for quite some time though. The YL-U2 will be my first multi-LED monster and I’m pretty anxious to see how much brighter than the Eagletac TX25C2 that I have.

Nice upgrade, finally!

+1

Well, guess my OG TK75 is going to Vinh now.

Think he's doin more than the LED's? Think he ups the amps, maybe de-domes if you want? I haven't done a TK75 yet but been wanting to.

About time they did this.I’ve been on the fence to get a TK75…I think I just fell off on the side of buying one.Does anyone list the updated model in the US yet?I’ve decided not to purchase any big lights from overseas sellers anymore because of the ongoing issue of my S2200 from SolarForce.

now that theyve milked everyone using an outdated emitter its time for everyone to upgrade!

finally.

Haha! I hear ya!
I don’t know if I would upgrade, but for those without a TK75, this might be enough persuasion for someone on the fence.

He definitely dedomes and adds XM-L2s, as well as all his other resistance reducing mods. I just emailed him about it so ill let you know.

Here is what Vinh does for $95

TK75

- 3400 LED Lumen

- At least 3000 Lumen Out The Front

- Upgrade to 3A on High per LED (Factory is around 2.2)

- Low and all other modes and UI are as factory

- Thick copper sink pad allow great heat sinking

- High Quality Thermal compound

- Hot spot is defined and bright. Spill lit up the night too! Massive Lumen in a high quality package.

- This is a light up everything in front of you and beyond light. Just so much lumen you will be shock!

- Connections tweaked everywhere for better current flow

- XML2 T6 5000K. BEAUTIFUL TINT! My most favorite of all Cree right now.

- LED surrounding cleanly finished to exposed copper square for good looks.

- Light bought brand new for the mod. Comes with everything as new.

  • If you are not impressed by this light performance, I would be curious as to why.

I have a couple of Vinh’s lights. It is absolutely amazing on the before and after results of the lights. Top notch work and great customer service after the sale also. If you are not blow away by the finished product I would be totally shocked!!

Vinh’s doing my TK75 and he said he’s keeping the dome this is what he said:

For the TK75 I suggest keeping the dome on but going with 5000K Neutral tint. This want you have two lights that are completely different. One extra bright with large hot spot for large distant area lighting. The other dedicated for ultimate throw. I will bump current up to the max and mod whatever I feel is necessary for best result.

Already sent payment, and mailing my TK75 to Vinh tomorrow as well.

Really hope he's able to keep up with all these orders.

How will the upgrade compare to the stock BTU Shocker now?

He moves fast. You see all of the K40 he has done already on CPFM?

I don't really frequent there much so no... time to email him ask him how mine is coming along I guess :p

It looks like he put out 15 in a day or so. Looking forward to seeing those in action!

Ah Damn. I guess it’s time to start looking for cheap TK75s now. I’ve always loved the design.

I’m gonna let Vinh do my Solarstorm SP03 next after my K40. I want 3 de-domed XM-L2 emitters and all the works that Vinh does. Should be around 350 to 400k I would guess.

Nice to see you finally get Vinh to do some of your lights Brad. I remember awhile back when you were looking for discount codes on the TK75 and I told you about the first TN31 mod Vinh did for me and how it smoked the stock one. That was not even the 6.5amp one that you have now. I could only imagine how nice that one is.
