Updated TK-75

I’m sold on Vinh’s work. Just ask rdfronty what he thinks about the Vinhnguyen54 modded de-domed XM-L2 6.5 amp TN31 he got used from a guy on here. He is sold on it as well.

I hear you buddy! I have a TK70, TN31, K40 on the way, TX25C2 and a SolarStorm from him. They are all top shelf! Brad if you are looking for a small pocket rocket take a look at the TX25C2. Its probably putting out 40k+, and it is so small!

The Tc25C2 is a a pocket rocket bone stock so I can just imagine what it is like modded.

To Fenix

I am (We are) waiting for RC40 head on TK75 body with XM-L2 and you can call it TK80 or what ever.

Thanks

Mine has a dedomed XML2 in it, very impressive I must say

You should see peoples faces when I show them it.

Please don’t post off topic comments. I clicked on the ‘x new’ link hoping there was some discussion on the updated tk75.

I appreciate the suggestion. But I am only going to get my lights that I currently have modded and souped up instead of buying more that are way behind the Vinh’s mods.

very tempting. ive always wanted to own a tk75, but the lumens was not high enough for me. now that it comes stock with xml2 and about 2900 lumens is very tempting.

but even more tempting is that vinh can mod this light as well. you know if he still charges $95 even if i bought the new tk75 with xml2?

The question is, where to buy tk75 for the best price? In my country it costs 200€.

Has anyone bought their tk75 from banggood? After applying the BLF code it comes down to 166$!

Last time I emailed Bill of doingoutdoor, his is $160, shipped.

I don’t see any Fenix lights on doingoutdoor.com anymore.

I just visited their website and you are correct.

What are the longest battaries that will fit in the carier?

I don't know about the updated xml2, but for the older xmlu2 version the ~69-70mm panasonic 3400mAh cells from Fasttech and wallbuys fit fine, if a bit too snug.

So using buttontop 3100mah protected should fit fine?

Can't guarantee it, but I think it's a safe bet.

Edit: I'm pretty sure the only change on the upgraded TK75 is that it has the newer LEDs.

I’ll wait for conformation, as i’m not pulling the trigger on 8 cells that i might not be able to use(tho i can use them in other lights). Anyway, thanks

I just in the last 15 minutes bought a TK-75 XM-L2 U2 from Bill at doingoutdoor. He said that due to MAP policy, he was forced to take all Fenix lights off of his site, but he can still sell them. Just email him at bill.qiao@163.com. He just had me Paypal him $160 and said he would ship it on Monday. He replied to my emails very quickly.

ok thanks
