Upgrading old Surefires

So I have a couple of very nice older Surefire’s which I figure I should either upgrade and use or sell to somebody who can appreciate them. One is a E2L Outdoorsman with the KX2 head and the other is a G2L-FY with the KX4 head. The KX2 is a Cree XRE I believe, with TIR optics. The KX4 is a reflector and SSC P4. Any suggestions for the most effective and easiest emitter swaps? I’m thinking MAYBE SST-20 into the KX2. Not really sure about the KX4; whats a good replacement for a SSC P4? Fairly large LED footprint but not sure about the actual die. Maybe something like a XM-L2? Is it even worth upgrading these?

I actually REALLY like the old P60 incans. Just hate feeding them expensive lithium primaries… but its hard to beat the tint, CRI and overall “usefulness.” I actually have a Nextorch G2 knock off that looks the same off a 18650 as it does off 2xCR123. I should drop a SF P60 in and see how it runs.
