US based flashlight manufactureres info needed

Hello, idk where to post this so of topic seems best

I NEED information on US based flashlight manufacturers for the things going on related to the action in the first link of my sig.

This far I called Maglite.
After a menu I get an operator, ask for marketing and get bounced to a answering machine of some guy.

PLEASE anybody know real people working at maglite, PM me.

And f there are other flashlight manufacturers from the US please let me know (and actually knowing some real person working there would greatly help.

What is the definition of U.S. Based Manufacturers?

Is design and marketing done in the U.S. while production is done off shore still be a U.S. Manufacturer?

Good question.
Well if it is a US company doing production not in US it is still US I guess.

It may be worth the time to see if ZebraLight is a U.S. Manufacturer as some have suggested.

With CAD and other tools of technology design and creativity have been separated from means of production. It is still an open question as to whether this divide creates its own set of problems.

REI? if you are pitcing a light then big customers who went to their supply chain could also get it done.

personally for “smaller” volumes it might make sense to have blf be the vertual mfg as we have all the capability “in house” now just no budget. but the big boys will probibly want the business case before the put their money on the line.

Maglite would be the preferred manufacturer if anyone can help Miller with a contact.

Yeah it is for the OL action streak (see first link in my SIG)

I think it would be rather painful that a small Chinese business is helping (don’t get me wrong I think that is great, thanks J-Dub74 and Simon) and the big US Maglite not.
Or well it is not really painful yet because we can’t expect them to know about the situation
That’s why I could use more then just the general website info.
Just need the opportunity to talk to them about this. After all OL modded so much Maglites and is very clear he loves US based companies.
A little aid like Simon offered should be the least but if they are up for it I would really love them to make a special run of say 100 or 200 li ion specials with a $20 markup a piece for OL and his wife.
Maybe a yearly special like this (for example a copy of a OL mod) Ln OLs birthday to give flashlight enthusiasts a chance to buy a real nice OL Mag and OL and his wife some money.
