So after trying out several, actualy nearly a dozen different devices, like 20 atomizers, crystalisers and other shits and about 500$ spended about that i finaly gave up, the last device, Joytech Tron S ( right after it leaked just a day after i bought it) realy pissed me off
That was it, now i have to find out a way to gave up spoking eventualy…someday…
For the vaping matter i gave up , i am usualy quite a persistant person but that realy pissed me off at the end…so much time wasted and for what? Leaking, pooping liquid into the mounth, a constantly dry throat….thanks, i had enough
Sorry about that, there is a steep learning curve on most of these products and even then, like you said, most of it is leaky garbage. I've got 3 Kayfun 4's that I'm very proficient with. The trick is keeping the vacuum in the tank, so many places for them to leak it is frustrating.
I think I threw my first few RBA's over my neighbors house, across the street...
it aint bout the money m8 but mosty about the time wasted, i put so much effort reading the forums, crafting, tunning, modding and for what? Nothing came not even close to Marlboro Light, constant leaks, several shitrs damaged, …i dont think there is a liquid that i havent tried…
That was the fate on the Joytech i mentioned…i few it with the battery inside though:bigsmile:
It is definitely a learning curve. Not nearly as clean nor easy and just lighting up a cigarette. After a year of using mine, you get used to the process. I usually have to disassemble my tank and blow out any liquid that has pooled inside of the coil. Cleaning out the tank with and q-tip once and day and then blowing gently through the base, and through the coil keeps it from flooding and popping.
Your dead on about that. All the supposed tobacco flavors don't taste anything even remotely like a nice Marb lite. Or what would have been for me 4 years ago now, a camel non filter.
Eeeew. nice! With the battery in it....must have got some nice distance. Aah, to see it disappear, like a tiny speck into the sky. I did that once years ago with an old 9v Makita cordless screwdriver that pushed me too far one time. Just wound up and hurled it good. The battery ejected like a rocket after the first spin, it was hilarious. Good thing we were up in the mountains, I didn't care....lol! At the time...
Almost 2 years cigarette free because of vaping
Leaks happen but with right setup they dont
Get Cruis by OBS if you wrap coils yourself or Kanger Subtank if you dont like to wrap coils and you will be 99% leak free
Coils pop usually if there is too much cotton in them
and
Dry throat , hmmm i would say go with more vg in your e-juice
Most of my friends smoke, I don’t. Some tried the vaping experience and went back to cigarettes. It was too frustrating and complicated. These are people who know nothing about lights, batteries or similar stuff and got fed up with the entire technology behind it just so they can smoke.
Leakage was one of the main reasons they hated it, otherwise empty batteries (not enough capacity) and really, really bad flavor from those liquids.
I personally would love to try caffeine eJuice but haven’t found any sources yet?
I’m planning to buy a Joyetech evic vtc mini but im not sure about which atomizer to get. I don’t smoke and this is going to be my first mod, but I have been reading a lot in the other forum. Preferably not nickel or titanium coil as they present some danger for newbies when burnt dry.
If you dont smoke then i dont see reason for you to start vaping - no point
I smoked for 23 years and when nothing worked for me to help me quit smoking , vaping did
KayFun 4, nuf said. Get the Tobeco clone KayFun 4 from ebay, they are built as well or better than the original KF4, IMO.
6-8 wraps of 28guage Kanthal around an S shaped length of 2mm silica. I use the end of a paper clip to hold the S shape, then do your wraps around all of it, I like to keep it at around .1mm spacing between turns. Use cotton if you want, I don't because silica lasts 100X longer. Some will tell you that silica is bad for you, I tell them, should I smoke tobacco instead? Besides I don't really care anyway. Its the way I started, works flawlessly for the last several years. Never needed to buy anything else, well except a shed load of mods. Currently running an authentic XVOStick in wattage mode, 6 to 8 watts, 12mg strength of Strawberry cream in my KF4 and I'm good to go. Nitecore D4 charger, a bunch of 18650 laptop pulls.
I’ve had a few and all leaked, basically a pain. But I recently got this Kanger Subvod - very simple, plain and straight forward, no settings to mess around with and comes with a battery inside. Best of all it is a very good vape and does not leak at all, not a single tiny drip.
On top of all that it is just £25 in the UK. I would thoroughly recommend. Personally I think most of the vapes are way to involved, which is why I chose this.
Very good review of it here SUBVOD
I’ve never vapped or smoked myself but still, I would strongly recommend not giving up on vapping. Maybe just take a break for awhile and then come back to it. It will be worth it to get away from cigarettes.
I agree. Vaping is still in its infancy; both from a hobby and professional point of view (ie medicine).
In the future patients who are unable to swallow pills might be able to have a better solution at hand when inhaling their medicine. Or what I mentioned earlier - inhaling caffeine as a better way for consumers who don’t like coffee or tea.
I don’t know why I bought so many vaping items on Gearbest - I don’t even smoke
You could try making some. Pure caffeine can still be brought. Even though it can be dangerous if you don’t measure properly. Measure only by weight with a milligram scale. Do not try to measure by volume.
I once confuse to hear that someone is faping in public…WTF and then it was vaping not faping, it use V not F but man that was hilarious at first i hear the word :8)
Quitting smoking was easy for me. I caught a freak viral brain infection and woke up in the hospital one day. I didn’t know where I was or how I got there, and pulled out my picc line, which they tell me has a 50% fatality rate, this after they told my wife I wasn’t going to make it. I got up off the gurney after pulling all the IVs and wires off my arms, and said “Gimme a cigarette” at which point it took 5 people to subdue me and finally drug me into submission. I remember about 5 seconds total out of the first 5 days. The last thing I remember was the doctor shouting “hit him with 15 units lorazepam now [expletive]!”
The second time I woke up, I was tied to the gurney with a nicotine patch on my arm and a not-swollen brain. A couple weeks later, when they let me go home, the wife and I smoked our last two cigarettes, and said “no, that’s it, we have to quit” and that was August 15th, 2009. I couldn’t smoke after I saw what the addiction did to me, and the wife quit with me. I kept using the patch for a while, and she still uses the vape pen to this day. So, I think the patch was better because it didn’t leave me with a monkey on my back. She swears she doesn’t vape nicotine but she still acts addicted.
Who am I to judge someone’s addiction after doing Judo while naked to the people trying to save my life in order for a cigarette. The neurologist said that addiction goes deep in your brain, so when you get an injury to it, your body thinks it’s fighting for survival and you basically become an animal to feed it.
After 3 packs a day for 20 years, it was very strange having a sense of smell, and not all of it good lol. Life is good now as a non-smoker, and I can do an hour of aerobics a day at 49. I have a better body now than I did at 29.
So good luck quitting, and keep at it. I don’t where someone finds the strength to quit—I just know where I found it personally.
