Very happy with my recent Thrunite Tis purchase

A few days ago I ordered 3 Thrunite Tis from Thrunite at their special price of ~$7. They were delivered yesterday. I have been playing with one from last night till now and am very happy with it.

It appears quite bright for such a small package. More interestingly, it seems quite throwy with a strong and defined hotspot, which is different from Thrunite T10. Actually I had a 3-mode Ti before but did not notice this on that one.

I also compared it with the $1.3 ultrafire M5-R5 from DX. Tis totally wins in any aspects.

I feel it is a good deal at the current price.

Below are the size comparison with a penny and a 18650 battery, along with two indoor shots for this tiny little light.

Thanks for the mini review sesgum! Because of it I ordered 2 of them and at $7.00 they’re a bargain. Great colors too. When is this sickness ever going to stop? :bigsmile:

Do you know if they will run on 10440’s? Thanks!

P.S. By the way, I ordered them this morning and I received an e-mail awhile ago that they’re already shipped. So far so good!

I´d love to see some comparisons to the M5- both the light itself and beamshots : )

I really wanted this light, too, but I dind´t like the idea of converting USDs directly to €s…

I could show you a beam shot comparison of the TIS and the Itp A3 if you are interested but not the M5. I don’t have one of them. The TIS is a throwey little beast. It has 3x the candelas of my ITP and slightly more lumens.

I have two inbound and am looking forward to testing them .

If I like the beam profile better than the Ti , then the Ti lights will be gifted away ...

Plus , I like single mode lights .

Sorry but I gifted the m5 to someone the second day I got the tis. But tis is way brighter, more white than blueish, and more throw. I have the updated ITP A3 which is 80 lumen. Tis is noticeably brighter than that.

From the experience with t10, I would guess 10440 should be ok. But I cannot test since I don’t have a 10440. Proceed with caution I guess.

I ordered a blue, a green and a red. Blue seems the best in person

What is the red like? It is rose-red?

I am out of town right now. Can take a good photo when I get home. But if I remember correctly it is a purple-ish red.

Chloe I guess you could call it a rose red. I call it pink and so does my wife. She stole it from me when she first saw it. I guess she did not realize I had had bought it for her. Lol.

Nice review.
My Tis arrived today to the central post. If they transfer it today to my local post office I will be able to pick it up tomorrow and compare it to m5 from DX.

Is the 6,95$ offer just available for US customers ?
When i choose shipping to germany i just get a “Unfortunately we can’t ship to your location.”.
After liking my Ti alot already, i would want an Tis now too …… :frowning:
