VG10 ? who makes them

I’ve been hearing all this good news about Thorfire. I just got and love the S70. Even saw a review on the VG10 and I thought well I remember that one it’s in the draw. I pop open the dresser draw with the extra lights and no it’s the identical Shadow VG10 and the nearly identical (in Sand color) Roche F8. The Shadow and Thorfire take 2-CR123A’s or 1-18650, and are 4 modes. The Roche F8 also 2-CR123A’s or 1-18650 but only has three modes. How many clones? Who really makes them? No conspiracy chasing just wondering.

I think you covered all of the ones out there (Shadow, Roche, and Thorfire). No idea who really makes them though. :slight_smile:

Hi,

i had one named Ying Feng :wink: I think Hank or maybe Ric are the former producers but in the meantime it became an OEM deisgn used by several manufacturers because all models i had in my hands were a little bit different. The Ying Feng was missing the tactical ring, the dark Grey Roche F8 has a plain bezelring, the desert yellow has a combat bezelring etc.
