As usual, Wal-Mart has Maglites on sale all thru the holiday season. Right now they have a package with TWO 2-AA LED Maglites, for $21.95

and a package with One 2-AA LED Maglite and One 2D LED Maglite for sale at $29.95 Basically, that's One 2-AA Maglite free in each deal. I thought it might be of interest to US members. I'm sure they won't last long.

BUT:

No joy at my local Wally World.

They just received a shipment of the packs with the one 2D maglite + one AA maglite but they were XENON !! :slight_smile:

I found an aisle display by automotive and it had all kinds of flashlights, spotlights and tools. It's one of the seasonal displays. It had the LED packages. They weren't on the regular aisles, but in the main aisle. They are setting up displays all over, for the holidays.

Maybe they don't have a choice what they get.

I’ve been forgetting things and have made multiple trips to Wally World for this or that and have seen these and many more lights, including an R5, the FatMax, the Coleman Xm-L, and many others. I resisted every time rather easily. I was surprised at myself!

I can’t swear to modes, but they were Crees. I was doing the weekly shopping and didn’t spend much time there.

Well, I’ve been to 2 Walmarts and still can’t uncover the maglite “specials”… I asked , I looked, but no Cigar….or torch for that matter. :cry:

I swear it seems the farther South you live in the great state of TX, the less you get comin’ down the pipeline. LOL

Any body else score these specials yet?….I’ll keep lookin’…gonna have to take a trip over the bridge now to the “other” WallyWorlds. Three more stores over there to check out.

From what I know of Wal-Mart, the stores don't have any real say in what they get. I have asked managers and they have said it's hit or miss. They ask for one thing and get something else, or stuff just shows up that corporate picked for them. I will go look and copy off the UPC on these things. Maybe that will help locate where they might be found.

Pffft @ you guys complaining.

The MagLites we get here have a candle stuffed in them and come with a box of matches. They cost $80.
