Want to put a 519A 2700K in a M3-C host, any driver idea?

I like this emitter and this host so it would make the perfect light for me!

High efficiency and great regulation is a must for my long forest walks.

If you have any driver suggestion please share

Well, there is a 3V 8A (SFT-40) driver for it, I don’t know what topology is it though, could be buck or linear, better ask Simon if efficiency is a important factor.
Then you could change the sense resistor for 4 or 5A as desired.

Another option is to use the boost driver (XHP70) with a B35AM, which produce very similar light to 519A, with sense resistor mod as well to reduce the current.
