So I looked at the XP-L HI that i put in my Brynite B158 and it actually has the same blotchy pattern when examined on a white wall, it’s totally undetectable in real life to the point that while having used this light A LOT i never noticed this blotchy pattern until today while looking for it.

It actually looks like an XP-L HI does behind an aspheric at max focus
