I’ve been thinking of doing a water cooled reference light and building another self built integrating sphere. The advantage being a light that could be used to “map” different spheres due to its constant output, but unlike built in reference lights this one would be portable with much higher output. I’ve been leaning towards something from Cree’s COB family like a CXA for the emitter. Would be really useful if it was tested by a third-party in an actual sphere. I don’t know of anyone with access to a lab sphere any longer, so I’d have to pay to have it measured.
