Wouldn’t buy it.

Even if it has potential for modding, I would just spring up for the BLF Q8/Sofirn Q8, and get a way better UI, tint, much much more thermal mass, much better quality host, etc.

I wouldn’t bother, I did buy one(different brand but same unit to look at) a while back it was DOA so never got to test output but they weren’t Cree LED’s it had latticebright LED’s in it.
As a host it had no shelf for LED’s so if a mod was done to it it would overheat quickly.
Bite the bullet and get the Q8 it’s a great torch for the money.
