They say it’s completely clear. Would be great to spray over dedomed stars to waterproof all the electrical contact points and the emitter surface. Protect the driver as well and you could pretty much have the entire light filled with water and nothing would happen and it’d keep working. Imagine diving lights filled with non-conductive fluid (oil?) that doesn’t compress and that could safely be taken down to 2000m and still work fine with zero pressure difference internally or externally.
Using it on motorcycle goggles, helmet shields and sunglasses. Motorcycle windshields and mirrors, flashlight lenses for hunters and fishermen. So many cool uses for it. I think it could very well be one of the greatest inventions man has come up with.
i did a lot of research on it, one of the sources says it works by a cushion of air, so complete submersion would only work for short periods
That still only limits its uses slightly
Good point. Just picked up a set of this stuff. Maybe down the line they can formulate it to be clear enough to spray on your windshield. That would be awesome.
