It’s relative.

Golden, Pink, Rosy, Green whatever era it is, people spend endless amounts of time and money, and keep funs endlessly. We can see the passions never flashing off.

If you can get the heads open, rosy or not, I’m sure modern LEDs would be a nice upgrade…

I remember at the time people were saying they were as hard to open as Jetbeams.

I don’t like the term rosy and have always called it red . Like I’m adding red to the mix . My preferred tint is probably more like a bit of peach but it’s probably best to avoid using fruit colors to describe tint or ano when buying lights .

I’ll take a blueberry fireflies E4 with a cherry mango peach swirl and the lantern kit to go .

2 Thanks

Correct! It’s far from an accurate definition.

Here’s one of my roses, which shows that calling certain tints ‘rosy’ is incorrect lol

Initially, I also disliked using the term rosy. But over time I became enjoying it. Especially by its positive meaning.

Fun fact: In East Asian culture, the color peach 桃色(ももいろ momo iro, 도색 do saek) has an erotic connotation. This light pink has always been sensual and timelessly attractive to people.

it will change with culture and language

Look how different the German page for “Rosa” is to the English pink

“Pink” in German is generally more a Magenta like “hot pink”
While “Rosa” is used for de saturated pastel like red shades like “PANTONE13-1520 TCX Rose Quartz”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shades_of_pink#Millennial_pink
or “piggy pink”

So for me Rosy white sounds like its White with some red isch Piggy Pink

That is how a lot of the FFL emitters look to me.
