I just received three Utorch SF-01’s and I don’t remember ordering them. Had to do a BLF UTorch SF-01 general search to sleuth out the possible how, what, and when this flash somehow entered into my ordering consciousness.
Oh. So I think this is the thread that moved me butt who TF knows. It coulda been the tooth fairy that told me I should buy them. Wait, it couldn’t have been Nottacolumbo! You ordered it from Gearbest on 7/10/18! Thread started on 7/27/18. :person_facepalming:
So It was due to a Gearbest $6.99 promo sometime around back on 7/10/18 that did the deed.
GLAD they eventually shipped cuz they could’ve NEVER shipped and I wouldn’t have remembered to bitch about NEVER receiving them.
Tell me someone else has done this otherwise I may start to think I have flashheimer’s.
What next? Am I gonna start forgetting to wipe my as*? :laughing:

It is very easy to forget an order especially if you do several a month due to the length of shipping time. Usually when I get something I will go to the website to mark it recieved and see what else is still in route.
As far as forgetting the latter, you will get a reminder for that later also. An itchy smelly reminder :person_facepalming:

When I order something I normally put the tracking number on the 17track app (unless it doesn’t have tracking number, of course). Otherwise, it would be hard to keep with all the stuff (when I order a bunch all of a sudden)!
Worry not, flashheimer is only noticed when you forget to swicth ON one or many flashlights and you fall in the dark because of that :smiling_imp:

I can confirm the versatile little rascal werks on a 3.0V CR123, 1.5V AA, AAA alkaleak, AA or AAA 1.2 NiMh (Eneloop) or 4.2V 14500, 16340, 3.2V LifePO4, AND of particular note, it has a momentary switch !!! This is rare these uber reverse clicky days. :heart_eyes:
What’s not to like! Plus included was a really nice Velcro cordura/expandable holster. $6.99?
I think it’ll also handle an 18500 if I open it up a bit on the lathe. Plenty of material me thinks to do so. An 18500 is the same length as an AA so we’re golden. Talk about runtime with an 18500. Blasts on a 14500 and plenty good enuff even on a 1.2V NiMh.
The pocket clip is HEAVY DUTY.
Also, this has a nice spill butt it’s IMO more of a thrower. With a relatively deep SMO reflector and XPG2 emitter - to be expected. Dedome it and it’ll be interesting.
Overall it’s now on my outstanding flash bargains of all time list.

I enter every order I make, when I order, in a spreadsheet, recording order date, vendor, what was ordered, other details including tracking numbers when available. I store that on dropbox so I can access it with any of my devices
I’m guilty, I’ve ordered things numerous times and forget about it completely, and then there’s also when a package shows up and all the writing is in Chinese so I can’t remember or figure out who would have sent it,
I’ve still got lights that I have no idea where they came from or who sent them… boy that’s when you think maybe it’s time to take a break.

Getting flashlights or parts out of nowhere really doesn’t bother me that much, but what really gets to me is when I get in my car to go someplace and forget where it was I was going to go, now that gets spooky, need a guide dog.
You folks are talking my language. Does it drive you crazy when you head out to do a chore and your significant other points you in another direction and your original plan disappears? I hate when that happens.
The worst for me is when I set something down and then 2 minutes later I forgot where I set it down. Then I utter a string of profanities that would make Mother Teresa blush. Then I get down on myself.
Besides flashheimer’s I think I also have Down Syndrome.
Got a ’GT, then ordered a plain ’20 for comparison, then a while later I get a another. Wtf?? Thought maybe GB sent a dupe. Checked my orders, hmm, yep, there’re 2 of ’em, even paypal sez so. Apparently figured “just one” at 52bux (reg price 80) was too good to pass up, so ordered another. Completely forgot about it ’til it arrived.
I normally keep a detailed list of everything I order. Date, amount, order number (and link), from whom, what it is, and any shipping info (not yet, shipped, delivered), with tracking numbers.
I would’ve eventually found it once my monthly statement came in (I reconcile everything once set in stone), but it was odd getting something I didn’t recall ordering.
