What 14500 protected buy?

Hi, I received an ultratac A1 and I would like to buy some 14500 protected.
Any recommendation?
I was looking at a Klarus 750 with usb load (fasttech) but if you know of another site with shipping to Spain I thank you
Thank you

I’ve had good luck with the Olight protected 750 mAh 14500’s that came with the S15R’s I bought. Looks like the battery is available in the U.S. for around $5.00, but I don’t know who ships to Spain.

Have had an Olight S15R, and have often used it as a redneck headlight on my cap. But even with a relative weak light like the Olight, the battery that came with it was pretty quick exhausted. No match for your Ultratac. When you are looking for a protected battery (any battery) check out the reviews of HKJ, and read his review of the Keeppower 14500 840mAh (Black) 2015. When you put that in the comparator with the Olight, you know what to choose. Where to buy? Here. Ask them about their shipping fees.

I’m using the Olight protected 14500 in my S1A. The battery is VERY long. It doesn’t fit in any of my AA battery cases. Check if it’ll fit first.

I’ve also used 3 Nitecore 14500 with the USB charging. 1 was ok. 1 was a tight fit. 1 didn’t fit in my S1A. Not because of the length, it was too wide around the micro USB port (+ side). Looks like their PCB size is inconsistent.

I’ll echo that but with EVVA protected Sanyo UR14500Ps. Too long for the cases, too long for my Xeno E03 v.3, too long for my Icon Rogue and too long for a ShiningBeam I Mini.

I just use unprotected cells in lights that don’t have reverse polarity protection, necessitating button tops.

I bought a 4 pack of SOSHINE 900mAh? last yr. Yellow/white.
They last well in my 3 small torches and give plenty of beam.

Bangood I think. free freight to AUst.
I also use their Black 4200/5500, 26650’s too, never missed a beat
but probably not good for real high output torches.
Fine in my L2/L6.

I once bought 3 cells from NKON, and despite everything was good with them and the shipping service, I guess that the shipping fees are too high. I will assume that Portugal and Spain will not differ that much, so I’ll say that I paid 12€ for 3 “modified” cells (16€ - unprotected Sanyo GA with added button top) :expressionless:
Too much, IMO!

AliExpress has some reliable stores that have 14500 unprotected cells! I can’t remember exactly, but Sofirn has som 900mAh 14500 cells. I bought 2 some time ago, and they have the advertised mAh. I just can’t remember if they are protected or not, but maybe you can take a look at them!
Other than that, Keeppower seems a consistent brand

I’ve been buying from this seller for ages

thanks to everyone for the answers it seems that the keepower win mostly

Just checked. It’s 52.9 mm long, slightly longer than the 14500 from my Rofis R2. It won’t fit in lights like the Utorch UT01 and Manker E11. Not sure about its power capabilities - I don’t think the S1A is that demanding.
