Truthfully amazon is not your best choice for buying budget lights. If you can buy from Manafont then I have heard this light is a pretty good thrower.
+1 Get the Small sun T13 from manafont, throws pretty good and can be modded for increased brightness

It’s a parallel cell set up, less risky although I’m happy with lithiums in series myself.
Both review very well and our own thrower lunatic I like flashlights seems to rate them, given his collection, that’s saying something.
As scaru says, I’d leave amazon and just go to source, I’ve seen 502b’s advertised at £30 or more on amazon, its a £10 light……

Manafont is ok, not my favorite vendor but generally no problems. My ZY-T08 took about a month to arrive but I made the mistake of ordering it right before the week long holiday at the beginning of the month. For a buck or two more, you can get the ZY-T13 shipped from US warehouse here:

However, if you are not that experienced with Lithium-Ion, I would recommend you go with the ZY-T08 from Manafont, as it is a safer setup with parallel battery configuration. BLF user I Like Flashlights rates T08 as a brighter thrower over the T13.

Yes, Amazon is quicker, but you will pay much more for an equivalent light. If you need to have something, order a cheap light to tide you over. The SS ZY-T08 is worth the wait, believe me. You won't find anything like it on Amazon for the same amount of money.
Could use the Amazon money for some Eneloops or a nice charger, though.

yeah, amazon has a super small selection of budget lights and they are all marked up alot more than a site like manafont. Why don’t you guys recommend him more USA based websites like batteryjunction(don’t know if they have any lights), he’ll get the stuff fast and for barely more expensive.
I would say get a sipiksk68, but that’s only $6.
Are you looking for something that uses a rechargeable and has both the light and batteries included(high powered lights typically use rechargable batteries called 18650, the 18650 is just the size)? Or do you want just the light?

You are not going to find a bargain thrower like either of the Small Suns or an HD2010 at any of these sites, however.

That is a great light that everyone seems to love, the batteries are also fairly good but non-IMR batteries would be better.
You won't find too many people criticizing the HD2010, it's a favorite at BLF! Orbtronics you linked to are very good cells, but the HD2010 will do better with 26650 (but 18650 will work). Check out Kumabear's battery thread for currently best priced Keeppower cells.
