What are you trying to light up? Xhp50, xhp70? Single li-ion? Aliexpress has some good ones for xhp’s. Kaidomain has some good ones. Mtn electronics Boost drivers has the best ones but they are double the cost of the Chinese ones and always backordered. Taskled Taskled will have the best ones for high current, but they’re also expensive. Boost drivers usually run at the LEDs rated current, but the pull from the battery can be as high as 10A as the voltage drops.

Suffice to say I would bypass the springs or swap them with high current ones.
