Hi everyone,

with my flashlight budget almost spent for this year, Im already making plans for the next year purchases  I plan to get me a dedicated thrower, probably the V6 or T27 and would also like a 15000+ lumen flooder with some throw, like the Acebeam X45. Besides that I will keep an eye on interesting new things and BLF supported projects like the SP70.

What are your must haves for the next year?

Hopefully, the FW3A.

what is the C8F?

Sofirn C8F 21700

I’ll be leasing a new car. Either a 2020 Toyota Corolla, of a 2019 or 2020 Subaru Forester. I’ve had 6 leased Subarus since 1996, and 4 Toyota Corollas since 2009. They’ve all been great. My decision will be based on price. I know the Forester will be more. If the price is not ridiculous, I will get one.

This one

!!

Just possibly a jewelry-size arc welder.

What I buy depends what will market bring  I collect titanium flashlights, so if it is not something too extraordinary and/or overpriced, it’s a must have

Except those future Ti lights, I expect to buy “xyz IF abc”
Klarus XT32 - I will buy this one as a reward, if there is a month when I don’t buy any other flashlight
Eagletac D25A Titanium - once (if) Nichia version is in stock
Eagletac M30LC2 Pro - if there is an interesting discount
Convoy L6 - possibly, as I keep looking at it, but I know I don’t need it (to fulfill a role several other flashlights aren’t fulfilling already) and it’s not that strong “want it” feeling. But, I’ve already “almost” bought it so many times… never say never

and not yet available flashlights:
Darkside Nymph
BLF GT micro

also I’m looking for some lantern, that’s another possibility

What am I buying? 21700 of course…because that’s the way the world is moving, weather it be cars, power tools, or flashlights. Imagine a Convoy C8+ powered by a 21700….especially with the latest incarnation of CREE LEDs. Not sure why anyone is interested in that 3 LED Sofrin C8F…the whole idea of a C8 is to be a thrower, not a triple LED gimmick flashlight. Patience my friends, don’t go buying the first 21700 light that comes along.

and a built in Texas Toyota Tundra!

The C8F is beautiful wall of light with good heat management. I have the C8T thrower too but hardly use it. Too much of a pencil beam. The larger C8 head with a 21700 tube makes ok sense. YMMV

Buy? I hope to sell a big part of my stuff.
