Wellp, I did replace the OEM GM speakers (built to last forever, not to sound good, ‘though their flirtation with Bose a while back was pretty interesting) with nice aftermarket ones with special emphasis on efficiency (dB/W) to get more volume per watt output. Nothing crazy with amps or subwoofers or nuttin’.
But I exclusively listen to .mp3s on a flash-thingy that plugs into the console thingy. Got a teeny one like you’d have for a wireless mouse’s dongle, ie, just the stub attached to the A-type plug, so nothing would bonk into it and bust either the flash-thingy or the jack it plugs into.
Might be one of these, or one of my older ones that’s in there now, forgot.
Cam Cole, just popped up on a FB thing, still banging it on the streets. Went to Glastonbury a couple of years ago to see him play a pub gig, he pretty much brought the house down.

Although Alvin Lee and company are known as rock and blues specialists, this time out, they’re playing swing jazz. The song is based on a composition by Count Basie. The walking bass line is played by Leo Lyons.
