What Are Your Thoughts On Xeno Flashlights

I found some on ebay. I’m intersted in the either the AA XP-G or XM-L. What do you guys think about them that have them or know others that do. Which one would be the better one?

at some point there will be an update to E03 V4 .. hold your breath if you can

I got the E03 (neutral) a few weeks ago, and was underwhelmed. Yesterday some Trustfire flames 14500 arrived. It’s a nice light. A very nice light. Now I’m looking for other 14500 lights to put the other battery into (might get a Balder Se-1).

I have the E03 XM-L, and it’s really nice & floody on medium. I put my Fenix LD20 clip on it, which fits nicely, so hopefully the v4 will have a clip.

I have 2 of the Xenos which I run with 14500- fantastic beam, lttle floody but heaps of light. They haven’t missed a beat and appear very well made (good quality). The Balder on the other hand appears a little cheaper finish and quality wise, and won’t run on a 14500. It’s reliable but not as good. The Xenos are class lights.

Why won’t the Balder run on 14500?

+1 for Xeno.
Have the same light, and I mean the same because I bought from them too  The only drawback for me it’s a non existent MED mode with 14500, it’s HI-LO-Very HI. With NiMh modes are well spaced. Try to make an offer, $32 for example, good price for that light (although I bought mine for 27 year ago  )

Don’t know why- will run with NiMh batteries no prob but not a Li-ion 14500.

It is burned out or defective. It should run, and run very well, on 14500 cells.

I like the xenos ..i've never had the tiger E03 but lots of people have it ..I have the f8 v6 and I had the f8 v5 both are about the size of solarforce 18650 lights supurb knurling maybe a little bit under driven , somewhat odd clickies that are a bit touchy and almost feel like a micro switch ..tints are average and the drivers are always very good with no visible pwm . Modes on the models i have are well spaced and well thought out .it appears the tiger e03 is not done very well . That said they offer a nw and warm and are very popular lights and are priced reasonably .. There are lots of revirews and discussions about the e03 all over BLF .. The higher end models .. notso much

Great lights if you like super knurl well built lights ...If Brightness is your only concern then just buy a cheaper over driven light .There are lots of those out there too

They suck on AA but good on 14500.

I forgot to mention the switch on my E03 - it’s why I wasn’t really sure about it at first. Very stiff to click on. Once on though, as Boaz says, it’s like a micro switch - really easy to change modes.

xeno “ultra low” nomenclature isn’t what it says at all so thumbs down

My Xeno G42 X-ML is without doubt one of a few favorite goto lights. Quality is top notch, heat sink and knurling are perfect as possible. And the little thing throws like Dwight Gooden in 90’s

Bought a E03 v2 WW. Switches mode on a bicycle. Rubber will not let you tighten switch to make good contact.Mine does not make the lumens claimed here.

Lennart

Lennart, it's not a bike light for bumpy roads haha ;)

you mean the rubber of the rubber boot cover? true. it gets in the way when you try to disassemble and reassemble the tail. CW is very bright on 14500, NW is §$%&"! on Eneloop, and WW ..etc..

Any reason not to go with this one (if in the US):

$6 cheaper and in the US

XP-G at $24:

Yup, great price (for US only, but still) :open_mouth:

HKEquipment have the E03 on special offer with $5 off usual price - $25 for CW, $28 for neutral. Few other discounted Xeno’s as well.

Have your Xeno F8’s held up since your post about them on 06/10/2012? I am thinking about buying an F8 that is why I am asking.
