What batteries to buy? (outside US)

I saw the 3400mah panasonic NCR18650B unprotected are the most recommended one I’ve found so far?

what I don’t understand why are there lesser capacity <3000mah unprotected batteries that are more expensive?

I’m looking for a long lasting battery - overal lifetime ,
not in the sense of longest runtime per charge (mah??)

then there’s the cheaper samsung

and this no brand one

What should I look out for? Thanks

Does GearBest still poorly package their batteries?

How are you supposed to package batteries?

GearBest used to just throw batteries in a bag, and the batteries would get banged up in shipping.

I don't know if they still do that, however.

I think the proper way to package batteries is to give them some padding so they don't get damaged.

GB did a large improvement… they are in the plastic battery holders now.

I’m new, I thought this was standard…(saw from the feedback pictures on the listings)

anyway back to my original question….

Yeah Gearbest packages great now

Protection vs none
High drain vs normal drain
Budget brand vs normal vs expensive re-wraps with Olight or something.
Availability
Stock
New to be expected
(Flash) sales

All these things influence price
Avoid budget brands
Check where you want to use them and if you know about it and want most power unprotected can deliver that. I really like the Panasonic’s protected 3400mAh cells for long runtimes and are happy with a little less bright
