So far.

I’ve used mainly Laptop battery pack cells for most (LG and Samsung)
and so far. no problems Usually around 2200Mah capacity (C8/S2 torches, etc)

Good ones. I buy new Panasonic only.
90% of other good ones sold seem to be built with the Pana cells anyway.
And so far. No problems.
But I must admit I bought a pr of SOSHINE 26650’s 5500Mah. just to try out in my L6.
Again. No problems. So far.
Just remember to remove that smooth slip ring around base above rear cap
if you install that anti-roll collar. Or you won’t get contact for battery.

As long as you buy other than the basic Chinese Battery’s. you should be right.

PS Bangood sent me email. They ship to AUST again now.
And I recommend spending the $10+ at same time and ship the Smooth reflector with torch.
It does improve it. Have fun.
