What Battery brand and where from?

Looking at getting the Convoy L6, have never bought batteries before so wondering if there is particular brands or specs I should look for? Any websites that you could recommend (that also ship to Australia)

Just buy Keeppower 26650 protected cells for convoy L6 by banggood like i’ve already done (69,5)mm length.

I got LK blue-wraps for my L2s, quite nice, but I think the newer LKs are black-wraps. Should still be excellent.

I only do unprotected anymore, fwiw.

So far.

I’ve used mainly Laptop battery pack cells for most (LG and Samsung)
and so far. no problems Usually around 2200Mah capacity (C8/S2 torches, etc)

Good ones. I buy new Panasonic only.
90% of other good ones sold seem to be built with the Pana cells anyway.
And so far. No problems.
But I must admit I bought a pr of SOSHINE 26650’s 5500Mah. just to try out in my L6.
Again. No problems. So far.
Just remember to remove that smooth slip ring around base above rear cap
if you install that anti-roll collar. Or you won’t get contact for battery.

As long as you buy other than the basic Chinese Battery’s. you should be right.

PS Bangood sent me email. They ship to AUST again now.
And I recommend spending the $10+ at same time and ship the Smooth reflector with torch.
It does improve it. Have fun.

I got one. To replace a 2 x cell Li.Ion charger I bought without checking.
I have Ni-Cad too drrrr.

They Fine. As are their battery’s according to those in the know/tried them On here.

Would these work in the L6? Keeppower 6000 mAh . There are also a few others from the seller that others in Australia have recommended Ebay supplier Im not sure what version is correct, it has Short flat tops, genuine etc

KP 6000 mAh are both larger in diameter and longer. Use KP 5200

no flat tops wont work, the KP 5200mah protected will work and is the recommended battery to use from the Convoy maker also.
