It’s only 3” long closed, with a 2.31” blade length in VG-10 at 0.9mm thickness. Should be a nice little slicer with enough blade to work harder than it’s size implies. Plan on taking the clip off for a slimmer pocket carry.

Just got my Reate Horizon D clone today. The blade does not open smoothly with the double roll of bearings. Looks like I need to take it apart and clean the factory oil and add miltec grease to slick it up.

How is the detent? Is it strong enough?

I’ve ordered a couple of CF coin claw clones for me and my mate 8steve88 - what are they like?

It’s a cool keychain gadget / letter opener with an excellent fit & finish and it’s a bit smaller than I expected.

Your stainless claw looks excellent!!! Really nice fit and finish. I hope my CF versions are as good.

I’m curious about the weight difference. Please let me know about the weight of the cf version.

Hi Isti - how are you? Disappointingly, the vendor didn’t send me the CF versions - instead she sent me blackwashed steel versions. They are very nice, good fit and finish, acceptably sharp, just not what I’d ordered. As it happens, she has refunded me as her store no longer stocks these little knives. On my scales, with the teeny chain included, 36.8g - presumably the CF version would have been a couple of grams lighter.

I’m quite tempted with this little Spydie Damascus thing.

Those chanterelles look yummy! The weather here, this season, was too dry for a good harvest. I’m hoping the winter chanterelle crop will be better. I have not seen the hawkbill Opinel before, another good value for the money I would imagine.
