What blade did you EDC today?

Tried out the new Kizer Bamboo. Surprisingly good ergonomics. Dandy little front flipper.

Also tried out the Monteverde Ceramic broad tip in this Ultem pen. While not as smooth a writer as the Schmidt Easy Flow 9000, it’s near the front of the class for writing pleasure. I’m curious to see if “breaks in” or changes much with a little more use. The bold output is very nice.

I danced around getting this one for months and finally caved in. It’s all it was promised to be, very small (15.4cm), very light (43/60g (!)), well finished.
Reminds me of a classic folding knife but as a fixed.

The WE Smooth Sentinel is a great little knife.

Still having fun exploring titanium combs. They fill the same sort of equipment slot as a pry tool or bottle opener. The thinness precludes hard prying and makes them a little less good for opening bottles, but they seem to cover like 90% of my normal EDC pry tool tasks. As with regular pry tools, the individual shape matters. For instance, this skull comb is fun but not as good as the one in my last post for removing small staples.

Getting creative with a picture of this Sencut Snap. It remains one of all-time my favorite budget knives. I got a fun mark on the blade from some plant sap. It’s peculiar in that 9Cr18Mov is extremely stainless, so the sap just ate away whatever acid wash finish they gave it. It’s like an anti-stain.
