What blade did you EDC today?

When I logged in… it changed to the $17.38. Must have been a new user price.

They claim only one left… Trying to decide. I am a sucker for nice wood scales!

For a second I thought those were the old DayZ canned peaches.

Didn’t the dealer that had the pink and green 20CV exclusives go out of business? I was thinking about grabbing one of those eventually. Knife Joker maybe?

Victorinox Troubleshooter with plus scales. also has the regular large and small blade, although I’m thinking of replacing them with a different tool layer to go bladeless.

I think it was Knife Joy. If so, they appear to still be open too!

Truly a great brand, with something for everyone. Budget knives all the way up to $500 knives. All kinds of different locks, scales, steel options.

I wanted to rename it;
“What knife with a hole in it did you EDC today”
but figured it would cause “discomfort” to some, but it’s all good.
Party on!

There are quite a few brands these days that are using some sort of hole as an opening method. I always thought they were goofy looking until I started carrying one and started to understand. I highly prefer the hole to a stud :joy:

Snagless is a highly desireable feature for edc, lol…

The only true non-button non-gravity/inertial deployment snagless would be a solid blade, and cover or attach an encapsulated magnet to your thumb somehow. Have it be strong enough to positively grab the blade, but not strong enough that you can’t finger flick and have the magnet disengage.

Or, maybe a flipping magnetic retention/assist mechanism. An embedded magnet in the hinge of the blade, a second magnet along the grip with a standard liner lock. Magnet one way keeps the blade closed, flip it the other way (like a sideways toggle switch) and the polarity is reversed, thus popping the blade out for full deploy?

Speaking of holes, back to my favorite Spyderco knife.

Fun fact:
Courtney Love’s band is about Spyderco knives. :grin:
