Done anything exciting over the break? I did! We (wife and three daughters) got to swim with sea lions!
The tour guide said don’t touch them but try engage them by diving down (yes they did come within touch distance ). This particular sea lion engaged in a bit of cat and mouse, I was literally trying to somersault in the water as fast as I could… of course, I couldn’t keep up. I was also gasping for air, I wish I was more fit :weary: None the less it was a fantastic experience. I got video of it too, it’s pretty poor quality but it gives you an idea
Super Typhoon Odette ruined the holiday celebrations for a lot of folks here. Many are trying to pull the scraps of their houses together for shelter from the rain. We were lucky with only minor damage so I just spent a lot of time cleaning up.
