So I’ve wanted to swap in some warmer 519As into an SP36 BLF, and finally got around to opening it up using the bent nail method. Mostly worked, but I cracked this small component above the microcontroller. Anyone know what it is? Not even sure if I actually damaged it or just broke off the housing, but figured I might as well replace it to be safe.

If there’s only two legs, and given the size, it limits what it could be (resistor, diode, capacitor etc.) but there’s a real lack of identification on most of those components. Even if someone had that driver to compare it may not help. Removing the component and testing it with a multimeter may be the only way to be 100% certain (off a good driver.) In circuit measuring will be affected by other components it is electrically connected to.
Someone with more surface mount component experience may be able to help?

Here you go- from another thread with worse damage. It looks like it has a polarity marking on one end and you can make out some numbers on it.

Just by the looks, this should be a Tantalum Capacitor
If that is 476 on that, that makes it 47uF.
The size you have to measure.
You can buy some on AliExpress

Ceramic 0805 cap should be ok too. They have no polarity. Remove remains, maybe all works with out it . ;))
