I’m considering buying a single 18650 Cree XML light.
I see both these flashlights on promotion at wall-buys right now.
Both look very similar in terms of size, i was wondering what difference i would see in terms of beam throw/flood.
Also HD2011 is 5 mode (low/med/high/strobe/sos) and the C108S in only 2 mode (high/med/sos) no low mode.
Isn’t low setting important on small flashlights like these ? will i miss the low ?what are your thoughts.
Input from anyone who has both these models would be great.
I don’t wanna end up with 2 flashlights with identical performance. if you think ones better than the other please advise.
The C108s is about 13mm longer than the HD2011 and the diamter of the head on the C108s is 28mm vs 24mm on the HD2011. The C108s is throwier than the HD2011. IIRC my C108s draws .40 amps on low
what kinda modes do you have on your C108S ? 3 mode or 5 mode ?
