Ya, I think we all like them but this is probably the wrong forum 
Back on topic, I just don’t think that torch is very sexy. I’ve never liked the taper down towards the bezel look. The Sky Ray SR-5 is an exception though, because it’s subtle and overall the host just pulls it off.
EDIT: And btw, just in case you don’t realize this yet, any claims of an XM-L putting out more than 1000 lumens in any normal circumstances (such as when inside a host) are pure bullshit. In a torch like that, if it’s driven really well, you might get 800 lumens or so (when zoomed in). So the 1600 lumen claim should not be factoring into the purchasing equation for you.
I saw this thing in store, held it and turned it on, it left a very positive impression.
Overall it seemed nicely built, looks better in real life, feels good in hand, and it’s bright. Comparing it to the other 2 xml ftt lights in store, the POPPAS 878 and Trustfire Z5 clone, it left the best impression. It was noticeably brighter than the Z5, as bright as the POPPAS but with a better build quality.
Some of these type of lights just need a little tender loving care, like a new regulator to ensure the LED is utilized to it’s maximum potential.
A little MOD won’t hurt anyone.
