what is going on with CNQG

I ordered a Roche F12 Desert Yellow from CNQG last Thursday night but never got a confirmation (paypaled during ordering). I sent them several emails asking for a confirmation email but no response so far. Could there be something wrong?

Anyone experiencing the same recently?

I’ve used Ric a couple of times, once for the DQG, another for a Balder SE-1. Neither time did I get confirmation, but both lights got to the UK in about 2 weeks.

I also asked a question about the stainless Palight that was on group but at Fancy flashlights, and didn’t get a reply, so passed on that one.

This is the second time I buy from Ric. Last time was the group buy for DRY and it was a pleasant experience. Though I did not buy through the website, I got confirmation right away from Ric himself.
This time I bought it through the website checkout. It is kind of spooky to not having confirmation when buying on a website.

While the confirmation is a crapshoot sometimes, I have always received the goods.

I got response from Ric. My light will be shipped out today. Hooray!! Now it is the waiting……………….

I’m logged in, it knows who I am, it remembers my wishlist and cart.
But I can’t check out.
The ‘profile’ page insists I enter a “MSN” number but I have no idea what that is.
The checkout page insists I choose “Shipping” but there’s nothing there to choose.

any workaround?

Not sure about the MSN. I just checked my profile there, it has my country in it. It seems likely both issues can be solved by going to your account profile > consignee information > select country from the drop down menu.

Note, dont worry about the next two drop downs, they dont work. If you need to add town/state/province, do so in the street address field, after street and number.

When the accoutns got transferred over to the new site it appears some data failed to transfer, country was one of them. I was missing shipping options, and the country being missing data was the cause of that, once i selected country in the drop down menu and corrected my address in my account details, all was fine.

odd the country names in the pulldown aren’t alphabetized.
But I nitpick.

what I don`t understand, is that the price for registered users is sometimes more than the Promotion price!

The best way to get your 5% discount is to just become a registered user which is easy.

With my last two orders prior to this third one I placed about a week ago, Ric immediately e-mailed me with a tracking number but with this one, he didn’t. I guess it’s hit or miss but like others have said, I’ve always received all my orders.

I forgot about this as it was a small order, but it’s been quite a while.
I asked about it recently, and got a reply asking me if I still hadn’t received it.
