What is one of your favorite modding tools?

I use the fancy long toothpicks that are flat on one end. Great for applying flux and holding wires in place

Bamboo skewers is where it’s at!

A good set of tweezers is a must. I have a few sets, some are fine, and some are thicker. If I am doing more advanced mods a rotary tool is great. They can do many things, and the small heads work well with flashlights.
I have a buffing tool on one of my grinders, but it’s a bit too strong for most jobs.

Threads like this are so beneficial for anyone who not only mod flashlights, but those who like to perform their own electronics repairs.

Opening the box after purchase, at first glance, it appeared more toy than tool. But I’ve really enjoyed using it. Quick heat up, accurate temp control and easy to clean.

I have to use a magnifying visor. I’ve just added a digital microscope DM9 Max. I haven’t used the microscope but I think it’s going to help me.

Hi. Which one did you get? Doing a search shows lots of different versions. Different size displays and even some claiming 4K. Also different magnification ranges.
