What is your favorite fast food.

:+1:
Often some of the best food to be had.

Chick-fil-A. has a breakfast burrito.
Tried it. Prefer it to the various Biscuit options.
Give the Polynesian sauce a try. Good stuff.

Fast food franchises differ quite a bit from location to location.
The local Chick-fil-A is always packed. While the Wendy’s right next to it never has a 1/2 filled parking lot.

McDonald’s around here has a promotion. Some of their old value menu items are buy one get one for a dollar. So you can get two double-cheeseburgers for $5. McD’s isn’t my favorite place to eat by any means but for cheap that’s not bad–that’s about 874 calories for $5 and it’s fast.

To answer the original question. My favorite fast food is pizza from a ma-and-pa shop in my city.

I love Wendys food for a quick meal–it’s a step up from McD when made to spec. Unfortunately the locations near me are incredibly slow and never make anything to spec.

(and by “to spec,” I also mean they observe the hold times on the food and throw away old stuff when they are supposed to)

That tells me people prefer chicken, no?

I kinda like McDonald’s McDoubles, but only every once in a while.
They’re cheap, but they’re not that great compared to what I get at Wendy’s. :slightly_smiling_face:

Dave’s double from Wendy’s (the dave’s triple is too meaty)

and Supreme Lover’s with stuffed crust from Pizza Hut

I agree Wendy’s is better. It is a shame my local ones are so bad.

Fun fact for anyone who doesn’t know: the difference between a McDouble and a double Cheeseburger is one slice of American cheese

Fish and chips!

I’m a sucker for Culver’s

Many years ago there was a place called:
Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips

Really good food. Monster steak fries. From what I understand they went out of business when fish prices went up substantially.

There was a time when cod was super cheap as in pennies per pound.
Now cod is considered a high class meal in a restaurant.

Yeh, I used to go there as a kid. Loved it…

I remember them. Didn’t know they were gone.

My absolute favorite since about 2 years ago when I first tasted it is Korean Fried Chicken. I’ve eaten it from a couple places and it’s always amazing! Imagine KFC but made of thigh meat (more juicy) and covered with a sweet-salty-spicy (there’s a variety to choose usually) korean sauce. S T E L L A R

Is that a type of food or the name of the restaurant.

My area [South Texas] used to have a smattering of Hardies. There mushroom n swiss with au jus sauce was my favorite.

Just mushrooms? No meat?

I used to like Rally’s/Checker’s Big Buford, which is a double cheeseburger.
I haven’t had one in a long time.
I think they might have changed their recipe.
