Often some of the best food to be had.
All the Best, Jeff
Chick-fil-A. has a breakfast burrito.
Tried it. Prefer it to the various Biscuit options.
Give the Polynesian sauce a try. Good stuff.

Fast food franchises differ quite a bit from location to location.
The local Chick-fil-A is always packed. While the Wendyâs right next to it never has a 1/2 filled parking lot.

McDonaldâs around here has a promotion. Some of their old value menu items are buy one get one for a dollar. So you can get two double-cheeseburgers for $5. McDâs isnât my favorite place to eat by any means but for cheap thatâs not badâthatâs about 874 calories for $5 and itâs fast.
To answer the original question. My favorite fast food is pizza from a ma-and-pa shop in my city.
I love Wendys food for a quick mealâitâs a step up from McD when made to spec. Unfortunately the locations near me are incredibly slow and never make anything to spec.
(and by âto spec,â I also mean they observe the hold times on the food and throw away old stuff when they are supposed to)
That tells me people prefer chicken, no?
I kinda like McDonaldâs McDoubles, but only every once in a while.
Theyâre cheap, but theyâre not that great compared to what I get at Wendyâs. ![]()
Daveâs double from Wendyâs (the daveâs triple is too meaty)
and Supreme Loverâs with stuffed crust from Pizza Hut
I agree Wendyâs is better. It is a shame my local ones are so bad.
Fun fact for anyone who doesnât know: the difference between a McDouble and a double Cheeseburger is one slice of American cheese
Fish and chips!
Iâm a sucker for Culverâs
Many years ago there was a place called:
Arthur Treacherâs Fish & Chips
Really good food. Monster steak fries. From what I understand they went out of business when fish prices went up substantially.
There was a time when cod was super cheap as in pennies per pound.
Now cod is considered a high class meal in a restaurant.
Yeh, I used to go there as a kid. Loved itâŚ
I remember them. Didnât know they were gone.
My absolute favorite since about 2 years ago when I first tasted it is Korean Fried Chicken. Iâve eaten it from a couple places and itâs always amazing! Imagine KFC but made of thigh meat (more juicy) and covered with a sweet-salty-spicy (thereâs a variety to choose usually) korean sauce. S T E L L A R
Is that a type of food or the name of the restaurant.
My area [South Texas] used to have a smattering of Hardies. There mushroom n swiss with au jus sauce was my favorite.
Just mushrooms? No meat?
I used to like Rallyâs/Checkerâs Big Buford, which is a double cheeseburger.
I havenât had one in a long time.
I think they might have changed their recipe. ![]()
