Would be cool if someone made an 18350 version of the S-Mini though, with a good neutral high-CRI emitter and a BLF driver.

I wonder if On The Road would be up for manufacturing one of those.

Not sure if that would be feasible for them. However, this Sofirn project could end up like that if there was some opening:
