WOW, that is one sweet knife!

Hi jhalb - the build is absolutely rock solid. Bronze washers. Big ones too. Everything about it screams “over-built” - I reckon you could pry up a house with that blade!! It is a little tough to really “flick” open but (i) the blade is short and stout so that won’t help with getting the momentum to break the détente and (ii) it could do with a lanyard to increase the “length” of the handle and improve your grip for confident, fast opening and (iii) it may just well ease up over time. It is still doable, just takes a little effort.

Very good knife.

My Sanrenmu G10 763. I have the aluminium version as well. I love this knife.

Just knocked up a very quick lanyard knot with simple rough round leather cord - sure enough, that extra tiny bit of purchase for your little finger makes all the difference - this flicks out with no problem at all.

Oh, did you buy an authentic too?

A ZT0801, ZT0566CF, a 50th Anniversary Buck 110, and a County Comm Spyderco Ladybug H1.

Where did you get that one? Really like it

The store I used is getting re-done but they’ve got another store - here is the link - worth trying to haggle with the seller for a discount or a code - I got $3 off

Very nice knife Paul, congratulations! Is it correct to assume that the lack of a locking mechanism was a factor in your decision to buy it?

Hmmm, I didn’t notice that it’s lacking a locking mechanism. If it would have had one it would be perfect.

Guys, these do lock

The Chinese have had a lot of knife related assaults recently so they’ve toughened up the laws. A lot of sellers use photo editing to remove locks from the knives they sell.

They do lock

Sorry, my bad. I assumed you went for it because of the legislation in the UK.

Out of all the knives (70?) I’ve bought, perhaps 50 have locks. We just have to have a valid reason to carry outdoors or use them as we please in our homes. Anyway, the Techno clone is an extremely nice knife. Well worth it. Great lockup

Those knife laws really are a bummer for you guys across the pond! On a related note, just got my Ganzo G729 yesterday. Love it!

I’ve also received mine! :+1:

Hi Isti.,

Great!! I hope you enjoy it. They are certainly very strong little knives aren’t they?

Let me know how you get on with it.

You’ll probably find that you’ll benefit from a little lanyard on it so you can grip it better.

Hi Paul,

It’s a sturdy little folder for sure! :+1:
As I have medium sized hands its handle size is just enough for me so a lanyard is not necessary.
I’ve taken it for a hiking trip in the Julian Alps, Slovenia. Here it is with the mighty Triglav summit in the background:

Magnificent backdrop there isti, exquisitely beautiful.
