I received my Ganzo G7392 today. One odd thing about it is that when the knife is closed and I shake it, I can hear something rattling. I think it’s something in the locking mechanism because when I open the knife and it’s locked, I do not hear any rattling. It just sounds like something is loose.

I own other Ganzo’s with axis-lock and none of them make any rattling noises while closed. Other than that, everything else about the knife is perfect.

That must be the stop pin! You can fix it with a drop of loctite.

I think it is mainly a design feature. But it can also be used as a finger hole when cutting tough materials like rubber sheets and hoses to increase grip.

I really need to curb my spending, lol……
First I was looking to buy a HTM Gun Hammer, then I wasn’t sure of the handle/blade color combo (green handle black bowie blade)…. then the price lowered and I figured it was a decent buy to play around with one…. the seller indicated it was sold on eBay……then I stumbled upon a Wilson Umnumzaan on eBay…. and I won it ( same one I previously didn’t win because of the min bid not being met…… then a couple days later the HTM is still available and offered to me…… then today a M390 full size Ritter Grip pops up for a good price so I snagged it…. I have a mini Ritter grip and a regular 555 mini grip (I love both of these knives!) so I have been wanting to check out a full size. Damn. lol

My D2/9Cr18 is the same one as yours with S35VN the marking on the blade with the plain clip and thumb studs.

The higher priced claims they use real S35VN with glowing tritium the clip and thumb studs (little white inserts).
