I’ll make this quick, I have a budget of $120 what flashlight has the most lumen output I can get ? Astrolux ?
Do you care about brightness regulation or anything of the sort?
Yes I was looking for at least 18,000 to 20,000 lumens. With Cree HP70 or 50 ….And a size like the soda can flashlights. Is Banggood considered a good place to buy Flashlights ? Thanks for answering my question
Sofirn Q8 Plus fits the bill nicely, coming in under budget.
+1 on the Q8 Plus. It can very briefly hit 24K lumens with good batteries. Most of these lights can only do it for less than 30 seconds though, many less than 10 seconds, so manage your expectations accordingly. Hitting 24K and maintaining 24K for a long time are very different things.
Thrunite TN36 Limited and Lumintop GT3 are other ones that will work but both are over budget by about $20. The TN36 is regulated I think, and can sustain over 6,000 lumen on high. You have to be careful with the TN36 because on turbo it can get around 80c if you leave it there, it will do 8,000 lumens on turbo.
The GT3 has a slightly weird battery holder, and has the least amount of sustained output out of all three I mentioned in this thread.
This is true about hitting there mark on high lumens for a short period. Which sometime can be forgetful. I also wanted to mention that my Haikelite clicky switch took a dive, now I have a MT03 that cant light up anymore. Dont know how im going to replace the switch cause no one sells it.
Thanks guys I’ll give it some thought
