I was leaving the office when I received a package from China.
Finally my Q8 arrived (my first real flashlight). I planned to make a video opening the packaging and recording the first impressions … but I couldn’t.
I opened the package while driving the car, at the red traffic light I removed the battery protection stickers and admired every detail of the jewel until someone honked. I started testing the flashlight right there.
At home I realized another surprise: I thought it was a flashlight with cold light but it has hot LEDs. The system is Narsil, it seems to be easier to handle than anduryl. On the street, I managed to light all the houses well up to 250 meters.

Catching a nice batch of bluegills. I live in trout country and I have to scout around to find a decent bluegill lake. Makes me feel like a kid again watching a bobber. At the end of the day, ya got some of the best eatin’ fish a man could hope to find.
Edit: not as fun as a 9-week-old lab pup by any means but…….what is?
Disney movies
old friends (I knew from my childhood)
going to the state fair
corn dogs
being in the countryside / rural parts of the country
swimming
riding bicycle
my slingshot
going camping
tactical products
going to the zoo
watching cat videos
Buying something I’ve always wanted, but didn’t want to spend too much money on. Then.
Now I buy those things from time to time. Most are pretty outdated, but nevertheless………
If my inner child is happy, I’m happy.
Oh my god… thats like the cutest thing I’ve seen all week!!! I definetely get why you feel like a child again with her
For me it is listening to old music that I liked as a child
I have very fond memories of Christmas as a kid. The anticipation. The excited morning. The discovery of gifts. Great times. Now I understand why parents are more about giving to the kids. I don’t get the same thrill anymore as an adult, getting gifts. Once you’ve got a lot of “stuff,” don’t really need more.
Before the pandemic it was swing dancing. Outright giggling with several generations of women!
I truly enjoy my motorcycle but had to give it up for a few years because I knew that I needed to mature or I wouldn’t survive. Don’t feel like a child but it does indeed give me joy. Just a more prudent approach then when I was a child.
