Since very few lights come on direct contact mcpcbs i am curious how many people have a few they modded, or converted all your lights or how many?
2/11. I’m just not really desirous of turning all my lights into hyperdriven searchlights.
I have plans to make it 3/11. Existing two are a Trustfire X6 running a MT-G2 and a Small Sun T620, though I yesterday took the trimpot out of it and its back to stock output levels. The third is a TR-J12, so that’s going to be expensive. Probably at some point do it for the Small Sun T13, if just to bring it up to an even 3 amps. Not sure which I want to Nanjg-092; the Trustfire X9 or Small Sun T08.
I also have future plans to get a BTU, and of course that needs Noctigon’ed XM-L2s _
Almost 100% for my own lights. Most of them are singe emitter flashlight. It does not cost a lot to grade.
not sure, probably a handful of them.
Near 100%. Everything except my triple red (to be converted, or eliminated) and my D25a. The ET would be converted w/ a 10mm sinkpad and a 219B right now but Nooooooooooo, they only use solder with the highest melting point known to man. I chickened out when saw the insulation melting first.
About 50/50

I have converted 9/21…
But most of those 12 which I haven’t changed, either came with DTP Copper MCPCBs, or didn’t require one. E.g. K50, TN35, TN31, TN30, FF4, SX25L3, MiniVN, D25Cvn Ti, RBD custom minimag D40A (I think this is on copper).
The only ones I haven’t changed are my Thrunite Ti2 (for obvious reasons) and I am not sure if the Starry Light SA-22 BLF Edition is on copper or not…

since your avatar is Simpsons related you may recognize this quote
Only 1 has not recieved the copper treatment, a VB-16 that has proven impossible to open without destroying it, I really think someone TIG welded that thing shut! Still has that Seoul SSC P4 led! I just use it to remind myself how leds have improved over time.
You have not quoted enough significant digits, if our lives depended on your accuracy then we would die a fiery LED ignited death.

Every light I ship has DTP copper (or Al) but only about 50% of those are Noctigon / sinkPAD.
Of my personal lights about 85% have been converted to DTP and another 5% are factory DTP, I do own a handful of lights that have non DTP MCPCB’s (or even FR4 PCB’s) if they run at <3A or so.
