What things that you experienced are you surprised people love ?

I thought of another one.

I don't like CD's, DVD's, or Blu-ray Discs.

I do like hard drives, especially the portable kind.

I have hundreds of discs that I don't use anymore, and I have replaced them all with hard drives.

When I don't want to fiddle with a portable hard drive, I use a thumb drive.

I love Japanese food. I’ve eaten whole jumbo shrimp including the head, antenna, and tail.

But not Nattō

The consistency of snot, the smell of poop. Nope.

Good reminder. Add to my list any stinky “pungent” cheese.

Anything that smells like cat-ass, I ain’t interested in sticking into my mouf.

Ok you guys are cheating,we are talking only about things you experienced, tasted, etc…

We know Lightbringer smelled cat ass and didn’t like it ?

I’m a bit embarrassed i didn’t think about these for my list.

Does anybody love clowns though ?

In addition to about 80% of the above, I hate casinos.

Hundreds of people jammed into a huge Petri dish, fighting to give their money away. I don’t get it. They lose $500, win $50, and go away happy, convinced they came out on top!

I spent an hour walking around in one, determined to bet $20 on something. I ended watching the gamblers faces instead, and ended up leaving and spending the $20 on lunch. I’m pretty sure I came out on top.

Wellp, when you’re putting down catfood, and the hungry little bugger does circles and figure-8s all around you, and next thing you know you’re facing Ol’ Cyclops only inches away, yeah, you can get a whiff.

Satan.

There's a quote by Craig Ferguson about gambling that I'll probably butcher because I couldn't find it online:

To play, I pay some money, and maybe I get some back... I don't think so!

The only things I like about casinos is sometimes they have good food, and sometimes they have a bowling alley that's worth trying.

Though there is usually the smell of smoke around because they allow smoking in parts of the casino, so even the bowling alley doesn't have perfect air.

I used to go on those trips. Casinos used to give you actual cash to spend on the slots, etc. If 7bux, you’d get 7bux in loose quarters; if 12bux, you’d get a roll of quarters and 2bux loose.

I’d go when payouts were high, like nasty cold winter months at AC. Get off the bus, blow the loose change in the poker machines, keep the roll of quarters untouched. Upstairs they’d have a buffet place where you could pay the 12bux or so and eat yourself into a food coma (and really good stuff, too) for a coupla hours or more.

After that, I’d hit the beach and take pix of the seagulls and whatever (careful to never ever take out my camera inside the casino!) ’til it was almost time to head out, then catch the bus back home.

Quite nice as a day-trip, actually, but the endless din inside the casinos was just sensory overload.

Poker machines. They’re like a video game but much less fun.

Nightclubs also, especially when the decibels from the DJ area are far too high for conversation.

Commercial radio stations, their popularity continues to baffle me.
