What to do with a 36V COB

I have a CXB3590 COB LED from a project. Any ideas on what to do with it and power it? Before I used a boost controller with 2x 18V Ryobi batteries in series, but it isn’t feasible for a useful light. Maybe make a shop light? Power it off AC with a converter?

A dimmable shop light would be cool.
Maybe use one of those 20 or 30 watt led floods as a host and a 120V AC wall driver w/ 36V out. Looks like your LED will do 2.4A max but its a cree… Good heat sink and 3A “should” work  Shop light with turbo of course.

36 VDC With Dimming LED Drivers Power Supplies

I would use the LED for a shop light. You can use a chep PSU and driver or complete drivers with internal PSU.
I did something very similar with my Kitchen light (Dumpster Dive- ESL Lamp to Hi CRI LED MOD - #10 by TheOnlyDocc).
Hope you make some pics if you decide to make something out of it!
I know this is a Flashlight forum but i would love to see more builds for home use.

I ran it at 42V at 4.5A so it can handle the power.

I put a COB light inside a regular desk light, put in a bit of metal as a heat sink and rewired the inside. The COB came with a driver so it delivers out 30+V at the right amperage (should be 1A as it is a 30W COB).
