This will be my first mod/build of a flashlight and i need some suggestions on which components to order. Don’t want no blinky modes tho 
The B01 XP-E Q5 was one of my early buys - quickly regretted! Very ringy beam, so it now lies in its holster in a drawer, unloved, and unused. You can bypass the blinky modes simply by a few drops of solder on the driver, but the light isn’t good enough to be worth modding. ymmv
