Christmas goodies !
I bought stuffs for myself every weeks. So i am not sure which one is for Christmas. Maybe the GT is the one since it is most expensive of my purchase in December, not sure i can get it in January.

I still have a fair few nick knacks that need to get here , like 4 more knives and some RC odds and ends .

Our family stopped giving gifts to each other a few years ago, instead we donate to charities. Also I am 100% certain we already have everything we need.
However, if giveaways count as gifts: I won a qlite driver in Mike C’s giveaway, it came from MTN with guppydrv. So that was the only thing that I actually got from someone else.
My family doesn’t exchange gifts on Christmas, but I bought myself a few.

I’ve only set it up to look at my thumb nail but I do like the brightness and magnification. With an extra 1.5X via eyeglasses it will make seeing small details much better. The light seems to be just about right. I guess the real test will come after I’m back home in a week or so.
I had one years ago and it was built like a tank. It used a 22 watt round cool white fluorescent bulb. I wish I still had it. The ones I’ve seen lately aren’t built nearly as well. Let me know if it’s worth buying after you’ve played with it for a while.

A family trip to Colorado. I don’t ski or snowboard, but most of my family does. What a beautiful state!
