It is longer zoomed to throw. It is almost as big as a C8.
The advanced electronic switching driver, not described anywhere, gave out before I could figure out how it worked. I have a driver I like on order, so no serious problem.
I have not found a good lens. There are 38 mm diameter 21 mm focal length Fresnel lenses but not in unit volume. The really short focal length designs seem to be made only in stage lighting size of 130 mm.
I got this in today

I bought one of those for a friend who needed a light and was very impressed with it. A nice bright and floody beam with reasonable draw for a long-running work light... I like the setup with the reflectors but was disappointed when I couldn't find any OP reflectors that were compatible. I was actually sad to give that one up...
Why did you want OP reflectors? This thing already has a very bright spill beam and the hotspot is huge.
This has been a bad two days for opening packages. The Yezl had an unexpected driver and a different tail switch and stopped working. I like it anyway, but not working is disappointing.
Today I got what was supposed to be a Lie Ren KC-01, from Everbuying.com. It is, to be blunt, what Americans call a “cheap imitation”. That is not surprising for $13.27 shipped, but it is disappointing, and it seems to demand that I file yet another dispute with a supplier. It says HMA/WYS UltraFire on one side and XML-T6 on the other. The finish is much smoother and appears less deep than in the Everbuying site pictures or in earlier ones. The tail cap threads are barely functional and cross thread half way screwed in.
It does work. Its light output is very similar to my slightly smaller and much better built Sipik SK73. To be of any use it should have more light output or a larger lens than the 73 and others like it, to take advantage of the small increase is size, but it is not worth the trouble of modifying.

I have received this contour powertogo NiMh battery charger, usb charger and mobile charger from a local store about $8 shipped.

it can charge up to 1A with one usb port, charging from battery is about 350mA.
Batteries are contour precharged AA from japan (like Eneloops)

Got my second Xtar VP1 today. Yeah I know, the VP2 is out with more features, but I wanted to have two identical chargers so I can charge 4 cells at the same time with the same results. You may ask why didn't I just get a 4 cell charger? I love the VP1 with it's volt meter which by the way is very accurate when compared to my Fluke 289.

I really like that charger doctor current draw display

10 XPG2 emitters (unfortunately one dead and one damaged)
first it was like this:

and then like this:

next step:

hmmm, one emitter is brighter than other two! will this be a problem?

I got the same brown “HMA/WYS UltraFire on one side and XML-T6 on the other”, it’s not cross threaded, the stupid rubber o-ring makes it stupid hard to screw in (a bit of NOALOX on the threads and o-ring make it much easier to zoom and screw end cap in) [be careful the edges on the shiny screw piece on battery cap are sharp as hell! I wrapped a piece of 200 grit sandpaper on a pen and rounded the edges], this is the zoomie me and my son modded with the penny and copper sink pad, I dropped a Nanjg 105C 6*7135 with STAR V1.1 firmware in it…it is VERY nice, but the rubber o-ring makes the zoom a pain to move, came from aliexpress…

Got an Olight S10 Baton today. I might end up selling my Sunwayman C10R. Not sure though. First impression is very positive. It's noticeably brighter for sure. I have to play around with both tonight.

It's a little smaller than the Sunwayman :) Nice!

Olight i1 EOS in the mix

I epoxied heavy aluminum foil to the tail cap threads, which helps quite a bit. I don’t have any copper foil, at least not handy. My feeling is still that it is not worth modifying more than that.
I am waiting for a 7135 x 8 driver for the Yezl.

Got a second Sunwayman C20C for use as a modding host today.
The last one became a host for an MTG2.
I plan to use this one as a host for a triple XP-G2. For the driver I plan to use a Nanjg 105c with DrJones’ lumodrv firmware and Comfychair’s FET mod.

I have got it from buyincoins, it was on sale.
It measures the current and voltage,
I am suspicious about current measurement,
because it changes up and down from 0.35A - 0.50A while charging my cell phone.
