I didn’t exactly got them today, but a couple of days ago, but below is my ‘haul’ from some extremely good deals on Banggood a couple of weeks ago. Within 10 minutes 3 super deals popped up, which I couldn’t pass on.
(When I wanted to post the deals here on BLF, 30 minutes later, all deals were gone and all were back at their normal (high) prices.)
- First I stumbled on the Seeknite L6T with XHP70.3 HI; more or less a Convoy L6 ‘copy’, but it was at such a low price, that even a bare L6 host from Convoy directly would cost over € 10,- more.
- After the Seeknite the 2 flashlights pictured below popped up for a very good price. The Meote FM1 was a flashlight that I wanted to have a couple of years ago when it came out, but never bought because the price was a bit too high for me back then. I didn’t even know that Banggood still offered these,
but it now was priced substantially cheaper, so I ordered it to give in to that desire from years ago.
The Niwalker NS2 wasn’t specificly on my ‘wishlist’, but it was listed so cheap (including a 3000mAh 18650), that I went for it anyway, even if it only would function as a host or to mod it. That turned out to be wishful thinking, given that almost everything is press fit (and maybe glued?!) so modding it would be a pain in the ass…
I’ve got an 18350 tube on the way. I’ll change the clip. Pop in a TIR. And possibly either dedome the 4000k or reflow a new emitter. Not sure on that one yet.
Got my copper TS10 the other day and just noticed on the emitter in the upper right of the photo, around 7 o’clock there appears to be a spec of something stuck to it. Besides bothering me because I know it’s there, do you think I have anything to worry about using the light?
Looks like it’s on the optic, not the emitter. You should be just fine. If you’re feeling saucy, take the bezel off (it’s most likely glued on. so you’ll need heat) and clean it up.
