There is a new version of the Mini Box.
Gen 2 has a serial number 2535, on left, with black feet:
Relying on Harbor Freight Lifetime Replacement Warranty, I went to Harbor freight and exchanged my Gen 1 Red Mini Box, for a Gen 2 Green Mini Box . The Red boxes they had were still Gen 1, so I changed color.
the difference is the slide stop is shorter on the new version. if you want to just modify your Gen1 box, here is an STL that allows you to change how far the Gen 1 drawers open

Thanks for this information which is greatly appreciated. Knowing there are two versions will be helpful if I decide to purchase any more of these.
But, is there anyway to determine if you are getting the version where the drawers open more without breaking the clear plastic tape anti-tamper seal on the outer cardboard packaging, since without doing so, you cannot see the bumper color or examine the front edge of the top compartment.
The Slate Gray colored Mini Toolbox I purchased with drawers that do not open as much has “clear bumpers” for the top lid and bottom feet. It also has the “fully folded front lip” instead of the “90º protruding flat lip” at the front edge of the top compartment.
FYI: The Serial Number (which is most likely a Version Number and not a unique Serial Number) on the bottom of my Toolbox is “37825-2533”, but is not shown on the outer cardboard packaging which shows a SKU of “71338” as the item number (designating the Slate Gray color) with an additional separate round sticker above the item number with two lines of text stating “37825” and “342025” (similar but not identical to the “37825-2533” number on the bottom of the Toolbox). The UPC code shown on both the packaging and bottom of the Toolbox is “1 93175 54593 0”.
not that I know of for sealed boxes. but there may be unboxed floor samples that you can inspect
when I walked into Harbor Freight I first took my Red Toolbox to one of the staff at the register, so they could see I had just come in the door with it.
I explained I wanted to do an exchange due to the drawers not opening all the way. I left my Toolbox at the register and went and got a boxed Red one and took it back to the staff person at the register.
They opened the cardboard box for me and we inspected the Red Toolbox together. It had not been updated, so staff set the new Red Toolbox aside and I went back to the Toolbox display to find another color.
Then I noticed that the Toolbox display included some unboxed samples in other colors. That is how I got a Green Toolbox with drawers that open all the way, without opening any packaging..
I just took the Green floor sample to the register and they let me exchange it for the Red one I walked in with.

Yeah it definitely grabs my fingers. More confident it won’t slip out of my hand. Its becoming my favorite light out of my collection due to size and power. This may satisfy my light hunger for awhile.

I don’t have any version of the TS26. But I see now that the TS26 non-S says launch delayed on the product page… Sorry about the misunderstanding.
No worries, I’m just eagerly awaiting it’s release.
I replied to the wrong person.
The Anduril2 TS26 is delayed due to some issues Wurkkos is working in. Maybe released by March? I’ll have one to test.
