True! They aren’t too bad. But, I’m still not a fan. The only reason I bought it was because I wanted the gray. And who knows if the gray will still be around when they finally release the 519a version. I don’t mind swapping emitters at all. And it was the plan from the moment I clicked to add it to the cart.
Please describe the tactile feel of the TS26’s switch?
It’s really nice. Firm. But not too firm. It has a really nice click to it. Not mushy at all. I like it
Perfect, thank you! That particular gray with black accents will make the Wurkkos TS26 my first purchase since my previous favorite, the Wurkkos TS21.
Again, thank you for sharing your impressions.
Not a problem.
I got in some new fancy jeans (*2 days ago, actually)!
They’re stiff, but will break in and wear quite nicely I do believe! Pricey, but they’ll last decades.
I finally bought the SF26. These have the best design in keeping the internals dry for USB rechargeable lights.
Received a Convoy order today.
M26E w/ LHP73B 5000k, M26C & 26800 extension w/LHP73B 5000k, T6 w/519a 5000k, a few hosts and various small parts.
My current hobby vise is a little taller than I would like. I had been searching for something shorter that would not take up so much height under my microscope.
I found this on Amazon for $16. All metal construction.
It showed up today and I’m thoroughly impressed at the quality for the $.
High Precision Mini Vise adjustable up to 1.18inch wide

I needed a charger that could handle 26800 cells.
I was ordering some stuff from Illumn, whom is just a little south of me, and saw they had the Vapecell BL4 for a decent price. I also ordered their usb-c power supply with it as well, as it was only a few dollars.
As usual, I received my order about a day and a half later.
The 26800s fit good.
I scored a new pair of tweezers today.
I have been using the curved version for a couple weeks and fell in love with them, so decided I needed to have the straight ones in my arsenal.
Tips pictured next to a dime.
Got a SkyRC MC3000, used, in pretty much perfect condition, for ~88$
It’s one of the few chargers that allow you to charge/discharge cells to any voltage you want in between 2.50-4.25V. I’ll use it to measure max flashlight brightness based on battery charge (something similar that tgreviews.com does in his reviews).
21700 cells are a tight squeeze, but it works. I didn’t get the newer MC5000 because it doesn’t have temperature terminals and doesn’t allow you to choose the whole 2.50-4.25V voltage range. The app is a nice addition too.
I received 6 of the 26800 green pulled cells from convoy.
Minimal pull marks from tab removal.
All cells arrived @ 3.69v.
Packed in pairs in bubble wrap.
Simon shipped them in a separate parcel, which is fine.
They took a little longer to arrive than the other part of the order, which actually showed up swiftly.
These are a great price if you buy 6 of them.
I didn’t exactly recieve it today but last week, but I still wanted to mention it here (also out of gratitude).
A couple of weeks @djozz was so generous to give away a huge amount of flashlights from his collectoin and I was one of the first people to react who was able (and seriously considering) to pick up the lights the same day, but I decided to wait and see if some other BLF member could be made really happy with them. In the end “I missed out on them”, but I was perfectly fine with that, given that they went to Dominik/Koef3, which I think is a well deserving BLF member for them!
A couple of days later @djozz did send me a PM, stating that I was maybe a bit too ‘modest’ in wanting to wait first to see if someone else might want them too. He wanted/liked the idea of sending me a few small lights once modded (and which weren’t in the boxes for the giveaway).
To maka long story short: Jos/djozz sent me a couple and I can now say that I’m the proud owner of some Djozz-modded-flashlights! ![]()
These are the lights djozz did send to me:
The one that probably stands out most is the Emisar D4Ti for which Djozz was so kind to include both a titanium 18350 and 18650 battery tube.
But I also really like the 2 other modded lights; a nice UV 18350 size light with ZWB2 filter, in a really cool black BLF Special Edition host(!) and a tripple 3000K SST-20 95CRI in a Jaxman E2L host and driven by the classic/nostalgic BLF A17DD-L FET driver!
All in all some really cool ‘djozz-modded-lights’ and representing some cool BLF history!
So, ‘Ontzettend bedankt Jos!’ (translated: Thank you very much Jos!) for thinking about me and taking/making the effort to send a couple of very nice (and nostalgic) lights!
PS.
I also took a photo of the D4Ti with the 18650 tube, which I forgot the post above, so I’ll just ad it below:
Thanks, I’m gonna have to check that charger out. I have been pretty happy with Illumn as well. I charge my 26800s in a Vapcell U2 powerbank/charger that I cut the bottom out of with a dremel to gain a few extra mm of travel for the negative terminal thing. It works, but it’s quite janky. It also takes forever to charge them, max 1A for 2 cells, 2A for 1.
