Whats similar to an SC60W ?

I thought I should try here, CFM didnt get results…
I need a light as follows :

  • Side switched (though that can change if it has to, Ill have to mount it different…)
  • 18650 based
  • 180-300 real lumens….
  • at least 2 modes

I have an SC60W that I used to make a magnetic/clamp snake light.
I love the tint and output. H1 is 2 hours, H2 is 4, Which I use most of the time…
I also like the side switch and UI, and I used a modified tailcap to mount it in my application.

I want to make a couple more of these ‘magnetic snake lights’ and want to hold the cost down….
W/O the light I am about $40 into each light …Adding a $60 ZL makes it hurt a bit more, though
it wasn’t such a hit when I was prototyping these…

What lights fit my criteria…?

nada?

Not sure if the you can sacrifice not having a side-switch but I love my UF-H6.

  • Side switched (No)
  • 18650 based (Yes)
  • 180-300 real lumens…. (Easily, probably on Med)
  • at least 2 modes (4 modes Low-Med-High-Turbo)

UltraFire UF-T50 , if tint is not important. You can get it here

Please let us know your thoughts on the light. It looks awesome.

Okay, I don’t have $35 to impulsively blow on flashlights, but I just bought the S20. If you choose to do so, be sure to use coupon code here to save $1. Free shipping too.

Question: Someone please confirm it will be worth the beatdown I get from my better half! (J/K BTW!)

I have both the s10 and s20. paid more than that though. :~ Like them both. The magnet is definitely strong enough. just remember to unscrew the tailcap a 1/4 turn to guard against turning on in your pocket.
